FAQs
Where do Casa students come from?
Our families come from the surrounding areas including Marietta, East and West Cobb, Vinings, Sandy Springs, Kennesaw, Roswell, and Smyrna.
We are conveniently located off the Ga-120 Loop, near the I-75 and 285 Connector. We serve families who live and work all over the Atlanta and Marietta area.
Do you have therapists or tutors available for learning differences?
Yes. Casa Montessori School has some on-site and after school resources for students with learning differences and can also recommend resources in the community to address your child's needs. We are committed to serving our families with resources to nurture your child's full development.
Do you offer before and after school care?
Yes. Casa Montessori offers early drop off for Primary and Elementary students beginning at 7:30 a.m. We also offer a Stay & Play program for students (ages 5 and up) Monday through Friday from 3:00-6:00 p.m.
What does it mean to be a non-profit school?
Casa Montessori’s nonprofit status means that tuition is kept as low as possible to give a wider socio-economic base of families the opportunity for a Montessori education. Much of the school’s added enhancements and extra programs are only possible due to the generosity of school parents and alumni who donate funds and volunteer their time and talents. As Casa is classified as 501-C, financial gifts that are given to the school (above and beyond tuition and fees) are considered tax-deductible donations that are used to enhance the Montessori experience and multi-cultural events campus wide.
How will my child transition from Casa Montessori to another school?
A child graduating from our Primary Program and entering another private or public elementary school should experience a smooth transition. The early years of preparation spent in a Montessori environment boosts a child's self-confidence and independence, as well as prepares him for any academic challenge. Most graduates enter another elementary school at a higher than average academic level, and can navigate their new school environment very well.
A child graduating from our Elementary Program can expect to transition similarly. Alumni, parents, and teachers from several private and public schools have given positive testimony to how well the children adjust and in many cases excel in their new schools.
“One test of the correctness of educational procedure is the happiness of the child.”
